Following recent advances in technology for hemodialysis, the number of patients with chronic renal failure receiving long-term hemodialysis remains to be increasing. Arteriosclerosis obliterans (ASO) has attracted attention as a significant clinical problem in hemodialysis patients. Although several epidemiological studies on the development of ASO in hemodialysis patients are reported, there are few reports of follow-up studies on the progression of symptoms of ASO among them.
